My practice focuses on representing individuals and families in personal injury, employment disputes, and civil rights cases. I handle matters involving car accidents, slip and falls, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and discrimination. I also assist clients with estate planning, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, so they can protect their assets and loved ones with confidence.

Whether I’m negotiating a settlement or preparing for trial, I take a strategic and client-focused approach. I’m committed to making sure my clients understand their rights and options at every stage. My goal is always to deliver results that bring closure, accountability, and justice.

Attorney Biography

I’m Skylar Hagen, a civil litigation attorney and the founder of Hagen & Associates PLLC. I’m licensed to practice law in both Colorado and Texas, (California-pending),and I bring over five years of diverse experience handling complex legal matters across personal injury, employment law, and civil rights. Before launching my firm, I served as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force, where I advised military leadership, prosecuted and defended service members, and gained invaluable courtroom experience.

My path into law was shaped by my passion for advocacy and a deep commitment to service. I earned my law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, and hold a B.A. in Journalism and Japanese from Rutgers University. I’ve also completed additional legal studies at Stanford University’s Center for Japanese Language Studies.

Clients come to me not just for legal solutions, but because they want someone who listens without judgment and fights for justice. As a mother, a veteran, and a woman of color, I connect with clients who often feel overlooked or dismissed in the legal system. I believe in making the law accessible, and I advocate with purpose, precision, and compassion.
