Practice Description

Kapoor Law + Policy is an appellate and policy boutique, with a specific focus on social justice and constitutional issues. I handle all types of appellate litigation, from magistrate reviews to the Colorado Court of Appeals and Supreme Court (and anything in between), as well as consulting on motions practice, issue preservation for issues of first impression, and constitutional issue reviews. I also handle the occasional criminal post conviction case under Crim. P. 35(c), employment investigations, and civil rights abuses related to the child welfare system. I have handled appeals in civil matters, criminal cases, and dependency or neglect cases. I also consult on policy issues related to race equity, social justice, and constitutional rights at the capitol and with political campaigns.

Most matters are generally handled on a flat fee basis with a free 30 minute consultation for an assessment of the case.

Attorney Biography

My philosophy is always to meet people where they are and with compassion. This means that all of my cases are client-centered, rather than issue-centered, which helps to ensure that we are working together. I believe that cases only succeed if a client feels that they were heard and advocated for in court--regardless of how the case turns out.
