Attorney Biography
Jeanette received her law degree from Southern Methodist University in 2003 and has dedicated her law practice to protecting working people. Her diverse practice is rooted in traditional labor law – representing unions in all matters. She also represents individuals in discrimination, retaliation, employment contract, wage, and wrongful termination cases, as well as preserving their rights under the National Labor Relations Act.
Labor organizations rely on Jeanette to provide legal advice on emergent issues and help develop long-term strategies. Jeanette regularly represents unions before the NLRB, in administrative proceedings, arbitrations, and trial and appellate court. Because the complexity of the workplace can involve a multitude of intersecting statutes and common law, Jeanette also handles matters that involve discrimination law, contracts, criminal, and tort/personal injury law.
Jeanette is admitted to practice law in Colorado, Texas, and Washington State, and is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Labor and Employment law. She has been recognized by Thomson Reuters’ SuperLawyers in both Texas and Colorado. Jeanette is a contributing editor to THE DEVELOPING LABOR LAW and presents to labor and employment and local bar associations.
