Practice Description

Katherine Whitney provides advice and guidance to owners, developers, and operators on leasing, acquisition, development, construction, and disposition of agricultural, industrial, office, and retail properties. She regularly drafts and negotiates various agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, restrictive covenants, land use agreements, and easements for all types of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Katherine also performs real estate due diligence, including title and survey examination, and is skilled at resolving title issues, especially those involving complicated lien rights.

Prior to practicing law, Katherine worked in commercial lending, where she gained significant experience with construction loans, refinancings, modifications, and assumptions. As a result, Katherine is uniquely positioned to assist with loan origination and modification transactions.
