Attorney Biography

The daughter of Central American immigrants, trilingual (Spanish, French, English) attorney Julia Guzman has a deep passion for helping foreign citizens reach their dreams and aspirations in the U.S.A. No matter where you come from or where you want to go, Julia looks forward to hearing your story and serving as a fierce advocate for you in the immigration system.

Julia received her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin (Majors: Plan II and French, Minor: Spanish). Admitted to the State Bar of Colorado and the State Bar of Texas, she currently serves as Secretary for the Colorado chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), YMCA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Group member, and board member for Immigrant Pathways Colorado. She was honored to be given the 2018 AILA Colorado Rising Star Award. She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters and pets, singing (including for a Naturalization Ceremony!), and taking photographs.
