Attorney Biography
I grew up in Davis, California, the daughter of a criminal defense lawyer and the oldest of three children. I graduated from California State University having attended both the Sonoma State and Sacramento State campuses with a degree in Government. While in College, I worked as a legal assistant in my dad's Law Office.
After college, I moved to Colorado, (my husband's home state) where I attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. In my third year of law school, I had the privilege of interning in the Felony Division of the Denver Public Defender's Office and was a student law clerk in the Denver County Juvenile Court. In the past, I had a diverse civil litigation practice encompassing the areas of Family Law , Landlord Tenant Disputes and Contract disputes.
After more than a decade of litigation, I decided to adjust my practice and focus on keeping clients out of court. Drawing on my experience as a litigator, I help my clients avoid seeing the inside of a courtroom through well-crafted contracts and agreements. My practice is currently limited to Estate Planning, Oil and Gas contracts, Small Business Contracts and Business Succession Planning. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, exploring Colorado's great outdoors, reading, gardening and cooking.
