Attorney Biography
Ashleigh N. Beck graduated from Colorado State University in 2012 after receiving her Bachelors of Social Work with a minor in Languages, Literatures and Cultures with a concentration in Spanish. During her Senior Seminar placement with the Division of Child Welfare at the Colorado Department of Human Services, she worked extensively on state policies affecting children and their families. As a former foster child who has seen first-hand the issues facing children in care, Ashleigh decided to continue her education to be able to help children and families in the courtroom.
Ashleigh received her Juris Doctorate from the Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia in May 2015 and was admitted to practice law in Colorado in May of 2016. While in law school, she was a competing member of the University’s Moot Court team and an editor on the Regent Journal of Global Justice and Public Policy where she enhanced her research and writing skills. While in law school, Ashleigh interned for the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute, a nonprofit organization focused on raising awareness about children in need of families, which led to her interning for U.S. Senator John Boozman (AR) and U.S. Representative J. Randy Forbes (VA-04) where she worked on issues affecting children and constituent relations.
A Colorado native, Ashleigh returned to Colorado in July 2016 to be closer to her family after working in government affairs in Washington, D.C. Working with children and families is her passion and she is excited to be back in Colorado practicing family law. As a social worker, Ashleigh has a unique understanding of the difficulties facing you and your family during this transition and strives to provide you excellent legal representation for your family law needs.
In Ashleigh’s free time, she enjoys dance, yoga, theater, and music as well as the Colorado scenery and weather that she missed while living on the east coast. She also enjoys hikes, adventures, and snuggles from her two dogs, Monty (husky) and Moose (bernedoodle).
